Description
Moist, almond sponge over a sour cherry compote, smothered with a creamy sauce.
We'd like to introduce you to our latest creation inspired by that most classic of tarts; the Bakewell. Our chefs were deep in nostalgia as they turned their favourite tart into a sponge pudding. We've chosen a succulent sour cherry compote; sweet but tangy which is baked under a layer of moist sponge enriched with ground almonds. The whole pudding is then topped with a cream sauce. Simply heat and enjoy or serve with custard, the choice is yours.
Keep refrigerated.
Suitable for home freezing.
